Lester still throwing too many over middle but gets one on inner half to strike out a guy for first out in 4th. Little check swing has cubs with two on. Now arenado goofing off.
I get so weary of listening to these announcers trying to guess what the next pitch is going to be over and over and over. Is there nothing else to enlighten us with.
Announcers talking about how the umpire has been inconsistent but I disagree. I haven’t seen him give that pitch outside out of the box to any pitcher. I think he’s had a fair zone. You can throw it in that box without throwing it down the middle. Don’t go full count with bases loaded.
Normally I’d have no trouble with Lester batting here but he’s not been very good these last two innings.
Looks like it won’t do much good to cut Sampsons locks. Not unhittable though. Hes got a 4+ era. We need to start getting base runners.Gonna have few nights like last night.
It is a nice gesture to let them get the lead and rebuild self esteem. Now we must crush them like the bugs they are.
din din will be couple of nice lamb shoulder steaks on the grill. They are covered with rub from The Rondevous Room in New Orleans and I just lit the charcoal. Making a caramelized onion, garlic and red wine reduction to spoon over.
Also picked up a hefty slice of lemon-lime cheesecake for desert.
Holy smoly…..boy are Bling and Cardinal In France eating like kings tonight or what. If I didn’t respect food so much I’d toss the red snapper in the dumpster and head over to one or both of their domiciles. We’re just toying with these schluffs by spotting them a 2 run advantage. 15 in a row should be a happening thing.
Arenado slows up thinking he had a homer but got lucky and was able to sneak in there at second. Just run hard til it clears the wall.
Yadi scored from second on a base hit but Arenado could only go 2nd to 3rd. Hmmmm. I wonder if some boo boo has him dragging an anchor. No matter, the O has rumbled to life.
Not really sure it was smart to keep McFarland in there. He likes to keep it low and ump isn’t giving that today. I would have liked to see Whitley myself.
Wow what a double play that was cut out the lead runner then 2 hung up runners. Talk about DEFENSE man thats highlight reel stuff for sure!
