It seemed to start right before the all star break although he had his challenges with walks before, but luckily pitched out of them. Still a manager needs to know early when to take a pitcher out, Before the winning run comes to the plate.
Agreed Billy. No offense whatsoever to The Esteemed One, but if RatsBuddy knows when to pitch or pull a reliever with greater efficiency than the manager of the St. Louis Cardinals, then serious changes need to be made.
I look at our starting lineup and starting pitchers and I think ‘this is one of the most talented Cardinals teams I’ve seen in a long time. The weakness all year has been the bull pen and management being unable to close out a game. I am so disappointed as is most of Cardinal’s fans.
