bling, it sounds like you’re on point with the pancakes. Hmmm, from scratch, now that’s impressive. Leave out the baking powder and I believe you can call it a crepe. However, I am not expert as I think the only official crepes I ever had was with my little leaguers, so I’ll defer to CIF for the definitive answer.

ParticipantWoodford isn’t fooling anyone. I guess his magic has worn off
July 31, 2021 at 6:59 pm #168452Boy this game is starting to look ugly. Is Woodford throwing lollipops? Their pitcher that hadn’t batted in 8yrs since high school gets a base hit his first time up? C’mon Man!

ParticipantWell that just frees up my night. Twins have bad pitching and we may come back but it’s just horrible watching this. Offense can’t hit and pitcher can’t locate quality pitches. Got to step up.
July 31, 2021 at 7:14 pm #168455My money is on Jake Woodforx.
So there’s three now?
July 31, 2021 at 7:21 pm #168456Need to go get 3-4 more arms. That way we could have 15 guys sitting in that bullpen watching while we fall 7 runs behind. Maybe same result. But sheesh he loves to ride that bad hand.
July 31, 2021 at 7:22 pm #168457Jake is just too young for this staff. He’ll figure it out in about 15 years or so. Must have an AARP card to go along with that 6+ ERA.
July 31, 2021 at 7:30 pm #168458Looks like we were overmatched on pitching tonight. Thier pitchers got all the pitches. Looks to me like our guys can’t tell the fastball from the change-up . About 10mph difference in speed.
July 31, 2021 at 7:42 pm #168459Stick a forx in Woody, he’s done.
July 31, 2021 at 8:01 pm #168460Gonna see the bull pen tonight- pitchers showcase and pony show!
July 31, 2021 at 8:04 pm #168461There we go, Our $12 Million a year mop up guy closed out the 5th after our $1 Million a year mop up guy failed.
July 31, 2021 at 8:12 pm #168462Good mopping doesn’t come cheap these days.
July 31, 2021 at 8:16 pm #168464Well, this game is worth something to me because I just learned something new. The 3-batter minimum carries over from one inning to the next if you bring the reliever back out. Andrew Miller pitched to one batter and got the last out of the 5th. Announcer just said he’d have to face at least two batters in the 6th since the Cards elected to bring him back out.
July 31, 2021 at 8:17 pm #168465Still stuck in neutral….
July 31, 2021 at 8:43 pm #168468Half the team can’t hit the ball tonight. Musta had too much fun last night?
July 31, 2021 at 8:45 pm #168469Now our min wage mop up guy with an 18.00 ERA sets them down 1-2-3. Go figure.
July 31, 2021 at 8:49 pm #168470Arenado, Molina and Edman are on the bench. Mailing in the last couple innings. We might get a run or two off their mop up guys. Glad I didn’t buy a ticket.

ParticipantYep this was one horrible game. Can’t even hit twins pitching. Need more batting practice.
July 31, 2021 at 8:59 pm #168472This game was pretty much over by the 5th inning. Reminds me of recent years when they played better on the road and then really stink when they get back home.Makes me wonder if they get distracted and comfy being back in town? Kinda look at this year as a work in progress and try not to have too high of expectations.
July 31, 2021 at 9:10 pm #168474Worst AB ever by O’Neall. Waved at it like his granny would have. Now Carp in there.
July 31, 2021 at 9:11 pm #168475ha ha ha, they walk a .185 hitter.
July 31, 2021 at 9:12 pm #168476Bader trying to hit an 8 run homer.
July 31, 2021 at 9:24 pm #168477How about Jimmy Foxx, Bling? Neat story on your baseball/crepe trip to Poland, Euro Dandy. Cube steaks are a total winner if not tough, Wooster. Unfortunately, the wifey only bats about .500 when it comes to preparing quality cube steaks. Another meat that’s difficult to prepare is corned beef. What a wonderful treat corned beef can be. But it’s so difficult to get right. We’ve tried almost everything with corned beef, but the wifey seldom produces a winner. There was this Jewish deli back in Cleveland in the late 70’s that made the best corned beef ever. Wonder what their secret was? Possibly Cardinal In France has an idea? I bet Scotty devoured more Red Lobster biscuits than the total number of Cardinal hits tonight. Go Birds! We’ll get em tomorrow.
