I consider this venue “Busch East”. No way we allow these Bucs to come into our house and push us around.
At least tell me you’re not such a putz as to have told her she’s 4th…or is that #2 slot a rotating one, depending on to whom you’re talking?
Ha! Yeah, I’m that putz. I’m 14th on my wifey’s Top 20 Fav Person list, so I was pretty generous ranking her so high.
Gant mows them down 1-2-3. Gallegos or Cabrera for the 9th? I guess Gally since Cabby pitched last night.
We got good Miller today! Yes!
We struck out 14 times today but still got the win. Yay pitching staff!
We got the good Miller, Scotty. Webb, Gant and Miller all pitch perfect innings to preserve the win.
Amazing that you live so far away, Cardinal In France. And in such a beautiful location. Next time you get back to the States, you’ll have to let us all know.
I think of all those years without computers and MLB-TV!
Next trip Statesward will have to wait for covid to give us a break.
I’m with you on a couple things tonight, Pugs. I had a feeling Miller was going to drill Moran in the hip when he was up 0-2 and bad things might happen. Glad he went with the slider low and away to allay my fears. Also, the wife is no better than #2 on my list right now behind Miss Bonnie (4-legged family member of 13 years). I’m sure Bonnie is ahead of me on the wife’s list.
Speaking of Bonnie, if Rat reads this, how is Whitey doing? I remember you saying Whitey was going through some tough health issues. Do I recall it being pancreatitis? If so, how did the vet treat it? We thought we were losing Bonnie earlier this month. She was diagnosed with pancreatitis and she barely ate or lifted an eyebrow for a couple of weeks. She now appears to be on the mend, even barking her demands at us now, after multiple stays with the vet.
