    Carp is now a back of the order batter instead of leadoff, which is fewer PA’s over a season. Then factor in he needs a def replacement, if we have a good DH option next year, like Miller is this season. 550 PA’s is a stretch in 21′ even w/out any IL time.

    He had 469 PA’s last season w/69 GS at leadoff.

    I guess all in all, given the complete road schedule against the Cubs, it’s ok to go 5-5 against them. Still, it would have been nice to get within a half a game of those losers.
