Well we are in that cursed position of a runner at third. We got a righty coming in. what is the call, maybe carlson off the bench here. If you are going to use him, id use him for oneil not bader. That way you dont have to have a hit.

Yes, but everyday players usually aren’t pinch hit for. I think it just illuminates what Shildt thinks of O’Neill, at least right now.
dejong got his pitch there but missed it. Thats the cardinals biggest problem, we arent hitting the mistakes, just fouling them. is that due to the lay off or something else, i dont know.
gscottar, he pinch hits for bader all the time and i guess you would say thats ok but over the last two weeks,bader has hit better than oneil so again i feel he just went with the percentages. Though i would have with carlson for oneil instead wong, that way if they walk carson to set up double play, wong can beat it out plus i feel wong is a better clutch hitter at the moment
maybe goldy hits a big fly and we call it a day. Maybe they walk goldy though but i dont see it. Edman being at second is good here, only upside to him getting an out last inning.
yea that was just a terrible inning there. Im wondering if we could score if we goy runners on all bases to start the inning.
