Well, that stunk. Bases loaded with one out and the next two hitters strike out. The Redbirds now have 11 LOB and are 1-12 with RISP through eight innings.
I listened to an interview with Mo during spring training. I walked away with the feeling that he was very confident that this team would be better offensively than a year ago. I guess I am not seeing it. The Redbirds had the tenth best RPG in the NL last year (4.62). They current rank 11th (4.26).
