Carlson with yet another bases loaded K. I know he will be fine, but we need more from someone here. I don’t care if they had asked him to lay a bunt down…you can’t let him just strike out there.

Though maybe I was reading the future before Carlson whiffed for the third time tonight. Then Rosenthal fanned Wong, too. Miller also has three Ks and the team has 12 through eight innings.
Well, that stunk. Bases loaded with one out and the next two hitters strike out. The Redbirds now have 11 LOB and are 1-12 with RISP through eight innings.
I imagine there are several GM’s who have Dayton Moore on speed dial trying to make a deal for Rosenthal.

I listened to an interview with Mo during spring training. I walked away with the feeling that he was very confident that this team would be better offensively than a year ago. I guess I am not seeing it. The Redbirds had the tenth best RPG in the NL last year (4.62). They current rank 11th (4.26).
This team was built on pitching and defense but our defense has been very lacking the last several games. Very sloppy.
well it was so horrible, they gave the hitter a double on that play oneil didnt make. Amazing, an easy gapper.
