Carlson grounds out, but Bader whacks a ringing double to right! Murderer’s Row is still intact.

Ringing double. Lol. That was all hustle on the perfectly placed pop up. Hopefully the Cards can take advantage.

Another bloop double by Wong, and we have 2nd and 3rd with one out.

That Bader bloop double will look like a line drive in the box score tomorrow. Wong’s too. 😎 Come on Edman.

Wong bloops one in to short left and advances to 2nd on the Galvis ill advised throw home. 2nd & 3rd with only one down.

Miley is not overly smiley here in the Redbird 3rd. Goldy walks and now O’Neill can really put a damper on Miley’s evening……but instead he bounces into the 5-3 DP…..ouch! But we put a 2 spot up on them…. that’s not too shabby.

Everything Castellanos hits seems to be sharp in nature. Wonder how his father prepared him as a youngster. Sure, one has to born with a certain skill set to ascend to this level, but it takes more than just that in most cases to get to The Show. That would make for great reading…..seeing what these star players did(in depth) in their youth to excel.

Surprisingly, none of us has mentioned Kim’s nice outing thru 4 complete. Fowler laces a base hit the opposite way and that’ll put Carlson at the dish to do some damage…. hopefully.

He’ll get em yet! Carlson whiffs to put an end to things here in the Cardinal 4th.

KK Kim with a really nice night so far. Well done, and hopefully a sign of things to come for young Mr Kim.

Harrison Bader runs into one and deposits it into the RF seats. He’s 2-2 tonight and it’s 3-0, Cards.

Many many hard hit balls in this game……that have been caught.

O’Neill looks like he went to the Scott Rolan School of Hitting. With that front foot and bat, he does the same thing Scotty did at the plate.

Like that he is staying off the pitches out of the zone better, but needs to slow down a bit. He hits a lot of balls to the third baseman. He’ll get there.

Have you been to our favorite fish joint in Denver lately, Mike? Great place for lunch, but they need more seating.

An excellent play to finish the 6th by Dylan Carlson. Keep your head up, Mr Carlson, and keep playing good defense and taking good at bats and good things will happen!

Tonight I had my usual gourmet organic cheese pizza, a handful of green grapes, and a tall glass of Diet Mountain Dew.

Great outing by Kim tonight and some big hits by Edman and Bader. Let’s finish this game off.

I’m just thinking of what player around the horn springs forth first when thinking of Cincinnati:

    1st- Joey Votto
    2nd- Joe Morgan
    SS- Barry Larkin
    3rd- Pete Rose
    C- Bench
    LF- George Foster
    CF- Vada Pinson
    RF- Tie….Griffey & Bruce

Not a bad little feast, Scotty. Hope you put a lot of cheese on that pizza. When it comes to pizza, thin is in! And the greasier the better. Back in my old dorm days we ordered Domino’s almost nightly. But now Domino’s tastes like cardboard.
