This may be, perhaps, the worst balls and strikes umpire I have seen in 10 years. He has missed at least a dozen calls already in this game.
Mayers should’ve gotten out of the inning unscathed. Ump blew what should’ve been a called strike three on Schebler, who then drives in the run. I’ll be happy to see the day when umps are no longer calling balls and strikes.
