I almost want to bring Fowler in from right to stand by the backstop with a runner at 3rd with 2 outs with Hicks bringing the 101mph heat.
May 6, 2018 at 10:49 pm #51273Another passed ball by Pena.

May 6, 2018 at 10:57 pm #51274Here’s hoping Wong does it again tonight.
May 6, 2018 at 11:05 pm #51275Holland better start endearing himself to us right here and right now!
May 6, 2018 at 11:08 pm #51276Nice job by Holland
May 6, 2018 at 11:10 pm #51277Boy that grass is looking extra green…quite beautiful if I do say. Those rains we had earlier must have done it a world of good. Those stadium lights must be so powerful that it grows grass at about the same rate as the sun. Any botanical fans out there know anyting about this?
May 6, 2018 at 11:13 pm #51278Come on Carp…end this madness! Some one better do it soon or we are in trouble. I think our bench is all but depleted. We’ll havevOquendo pinch running pretty soon.
May 6, 2018 at 11:17 pm #51279Other than backup catcher bench is depleted.
May 6, 2018 at 11:21 pm #51280I know this is not a very pleasant thing to say, but I’ve had my fill of one, William Dexter Fowler!
May 6, 2018 at 11:23 pm #51281Martinez is looking pretty comfy over there at 1st base tonight….very refreshing to see.
May 6, 2018 at 11:29 pm #51282Nice job by Matheny, also. TLR used to punish relievers who walked the leadoff man by leaving him the game until the runner scored.
May 6, 2018 at 11:31 pm #51283Tui is lucky Schwarber didn’t deposit that last one into the seats.
May 6, 2018 at 11:32 pm #51284Would love to deal Morrow another dose of sorrow for a second consecutive game. Come on boys!
May 6, 2018 at 11:34 pm #51285I’ve been feeling the same way about Fowler. I hate to see him come to the plate. I can’t imagine this going on all season, though.
That 9th inning performance by Tui might be the best inning I’ve ever seen him have.
May 6, 2018 at 11:36 pm #51286Thank Goodness Ozuna was running hard all the way.
May 6, 2018 at 11:36 pm #51287Thank Goodness Ozuna was running hard all the way.
May 6, 2018 at 11:36 pm #51288Jeter saying that hard grounder to Bryant was an “impossible play” was pure poppycock. Difficult play yes….impossible play…no way.
May 6, 2018 at 11:40 pm #51289first 2 runners on and can’t plate one of them.
This offense is struggling. I don’t care what happened yesterday.
May 6, 2018 at 11:40 pm #51290Ouch that hurt! With the momentum now shifted to them, coupled with our depleted bench, how in blazes can we possibly win this game????
May 6, 2018 at 11:43 pm #51291Was Jeter on Twitter?
It wasn’t an impossible play but a really tough one that only a good fielding guys at the hot corner make. Bryant is adequate at 3rd but is likely put in LF at some point in his career.
May 6, 2018 at 11:44 pm #51292Sweet! That pudgy fan with the Lakers jersey and sombrero was absolutely priceless! If you were sitting anywhere near the dude, you’d have to buy him a brewski or two.
May 6, 2018 at 11:47 pm #51293My bad, Booyah…. it was Rodriguez, not Jeter.
May 6, 2018 at 11:50 pm #51294Ha ha!! That’s now the third time theyve zeroed in on the cRaZy Lakers fan….this time extending sombrero bows with his pals. We win this one and he gets the game ball in my book…but God knows what he’ll do with it.
May 6, 2018 at 11:50 pm #51295Also, that replay of Schwarber tripping over himself and falling down, then getting up and catching the ball, is being made up to be some kind of amazing, heroic play. IMO, Schwarber should be embarassed. He looked silly tripping over himself and falling down.
May 6, 2018 at 11:55 pm #51296Indeed Mudville! Come on Carson….end this madness now!! If not they are going to get us.
