ParticipantI think Martinez will do anything not to walk.
September 17, 2018 at 9:07 pm #69610Wth was Schildt doing? With a 6-2 lead, you have a gold glove caliber CFer riding the pines while Munoz makes 2 misplays. I hope I can chalk this up to OJT. And NO viable lefty reliever.
September 17, 2018 at 9:12 pm #69611Oh oh

This plus allowing Webb to get the shizz rolling down hill was brainless. Shildt making his predecessor look smart tonight.
September 17, 2018 at 9:13 pm #69613Brebbia just warming up!!!! They got 8 million bullpen guys out there!
Markakis doubles and it’s 6-5. Stall time!
September 17, 2018 at 9:15 pm #69614Hudson throwing up some tasty meat to these braves hitters.
September 17, 2018 at 9:16 pm #69615NJ315
ParticipantThis bullpen is bad!!!
September 17, 2018 at 9:16 pm #69616Hudson whiffs Camargo to maintain the slight 6-5 margin. We await the 8th.
September 17, 2018 at 9:16 pm #69617Hudson limps out of the 7th inning with a 6-5 lead. Somehow, this one seems to be an unlikely win unless the Cards score some more.
September 17, 2018 at 9:17 pm #69618Need to hold onto this one
September 17, 2018 at 9:22 pm #69619Michael Comforto with 6 rbi tonight in the Metropolitans 9-4 whitewashing of Philadelphia, giving him 22 rbi for September. Yelich hit for the cycle for the second time this year in the Crew’s lambasting of Cincinnati…..while the Marlins franchise still awaits it’s first player to hit for the cycle in it’s somewhat storied existence.
September 17, 2018 at 9:24 pm #69620Would be a nice time for a Carpenter homer!
September 17, 2018 at 9:27 pm #69621It’s his best bad position or so has been rumored.
If a player is bad at multiple positions, does that mean he’s versatile? Muñoz can make the occasional eye-catching play, but goes spastic far too often.
September 17, 2018 at 9:30 pm #69622Bader in for defense, but crushes a 3-run blast to help the pen.
September 17, 2018 at 9:30 pm #69623

September 17, 2018 at 9:31 pm #69626And Bader emerges from his slump, and hits a big tater.
September 17, 2018 at 9:32 pm #69627And the boo-“Birds” are chirping in Atlanta….sweet!
September 17, 2018 at 9:32 pm #69628NJ315
ParticipantBader!!!!
September 17, 2018 at 9:33 pm #69629A Bader tater tot!!
September 17, 2018 at 9:33 pm #69630Maybe we should start Munoz in center every now and then after all….it sure lit a fire under Bader’s bat.
September 17, 2018 at 9:34 pm #69631NJ315
ParticipantPugs last time you brought the portly lady too early…and now you are tempting fate again.
September 17, 2018 at 9:34 pm #69632Darth Bader just crushed the Rebel Alliance!
September 17, 2018 at 9:35 pm #69633And the boo-“Birds” are chirping in Atlanta….sweet!
Chirping boo birds are sweet . . . . as a Georgia peach . . . . as long as a birds’ pen can get 6 more outs before giving up 4 more runs.
