First 3 up 3 down inning for Mikolas, but it still takes 15 pitches. Pen better be good tonight. Cards up 4-2 after 4 inning and Mikolas has to be almost out of gas at around 90 pitches.

There’s not a good answer for this. Just like there’s not a good answer for why Tyler Webb is a Cardinal. Sometime Mo and Shildt don’t make good decisions.
