stlcard25ParticipantRealistically, this game was a loss anyway. Williams is on an Arrieta 2015 run right now, so you may as well let Waino eat a few more innings. If you lose 10-0, so be it.
September 10, 2018 at 8:25 pm #689482 on, no outs. Adams whiffs on a half swing. What has Adams done for us since returning? Sure seems like a lot of S/Os.
September 10, 2018 at 8:27 pm #68949NJ315
ParticipantWe get 3 back and still at it!!
September 10, 2018 at 8:30 pm #68950NJ315
ParticipantTied game!!
September 10, 2018 at 8:32 pm #68951Good hitting after Adams strikes out! 4-4.
September 10, 2018 at 8:35 pm #68952NJ315
ParticipantWaino to face Marte-Bell-Cervelli.
September 10, 2018 at 8:42 pm #68953NJ315
ParticipantAnother 1-2-3 for Waino. Has retired the last 8 in a row. Maybe Shildt knows better.
September 10, 2018 at 8:45 pm #68954NJ315
ParticipantWaino is done. Garcia pinch hits and singles.
September 10, 2018 at 8:57 pm #68955shock shock Shreve gave up a HR what is new there he is prone to give them up all the dang time….worthles lefty
September 10, 2018 at 9:06 pm #68957great we go from one garbage pitcher to another guess we giving this away…
September 10, 2018 at 9:08 pm #68958NJ315
ParticipantThey should have kept Waino in. Leone and Shreve should be only use for mop duty.
September 10, 2018 at 9:12 pm #68959I don’t like it or agree with it but I very well see the Cards keeping Waino in the rotation going forward. He’d have to totally implode for them to make changes there.
On another note, the Cards bullpen (pitching staff in general) is like going to the Zoo and watching an elephant just take a massive dump. I miss August.
September 10, 2018 at 9:23 pm #68961Seems like ever since Schildt got the deal we started sucking. Hate to call that coincidence but the timing is very close
September 10, 2018 at 9:25 pm #68962And bringing back all the shit bullpen pitchers and framing it as reinforcements
September 10, 2018 at 9:59 pm #68963ADAMS gives us a lead!!!!!
Bader’s sac fly puts us up two with three outs to go
September 10, 2018 at 10:09 pm #68964It’s never easy
September 10, 2018 at 10:09 pm #68965Focus, Carlos!!
One more out!!!
September 10, 2018 at 10:10 pm #68966Nice come back win!
September 10, 2018 at 10:11 pm #68967And
THAT’S A WINNER!Cards take game one, 8-7
September 10, 2018 at 10:17 pm #68968Bad defense rears its ugly head with DeJong’s costly miscue, allowing the next batter, Bell, to almost tie it with a near-HR that’s a double. Carlos then gets the save on an unlikely play of atonement by DeJong to get Cervelli by an eye lash at first after snaring a grounder deep in the hole. Gotta love those slow-footed catchers!
September 10, 2018 at 10:21 pm #68969wagee12
ParticipantMan U gotta love it when a Matt Adams basher has to eat crow! LOL
September 10, 2018 at 10:22 pm #68970wagee12
ParticipantThanks for the critique, btw, the Cardinals won the game.
September 10, 2018 at 10:36 pm #68971Unless someone is injured, there is NO WAY I want Waino starting again. It is ruining our mojo with the 5 starters we had. We cannot keep getting behind 4-0.
September 10, 2018 at 10:48 pm #68973Gotta give credit where credit is due. Adams comes through in a pinch and puts one over the fence. He’s now 5 for 32 (.156) since coming back to the Cards, so lots of upside for sure.

stlcard25ParticipantLike I said…pretty sure loss. LOL. Since I couldn’t watch, great comeback boys!! Gained a game on the Dodgers, too.
