stlcard25ParticipantWhat a way to lose the win streak. As badly as they played this series, they deserved it.

ParticipantGet the bases loaded and hit a walkoff NOW!!!!
September 2, 2018 at 4:53 pm #67936NJ315
ParticipantLook they scored a run! We only lose 6-4 much better!

ParticipantKelly for the last out……with a decent at bat so far.
September 2, 2018 at 4:55 pm #67938NJ315
ParticipantGreat at bat he walks gives Carp a chance.

ParticipantPena behind Carp I am guessing he won’t see a good pitch. They walk him.

ParticipantHe gave it a ride. Tough lost. Now I can start my labor day eve drinking!
September 2, 2018 at 5:03 pm #67942I’m hitting the Wild Turkey too, NJ….tough tough loss! By night’s end hopefully I won’t even know how to say the word “Norris” without terribly slurring my words!
September 2, 2018 at 5:05 pm #67943NJ315
ParticipantI will be thinking of you as I slur Norris’ name myself.
September 2, 2018 at 5:13 pm #67944Brutal loss.
September 2, 2018 at 5:15 pm #67945Funny, NJ! Anyone else care to erase the utter brutal memoirs of this game compliments of man’s second best friend…..Wild Turkey.
September 2, 2018 at 5:18 pm #67946You knew eventually the series streak was going to come to an end, and doesn’t it seem whenever a streak comes to an end in any sport, that it’s against a team you least at expect it.
We had our chances esp in the 9th,but sometimes you just have to tip your cap to other teams pitcher and say nice job.
Whatever the rest of the season may hold for the Cardinals,I wanna say right now… good job boys for making it a race and not giving up. Also I commend Schildt for playing the youngsters and putting them in to start games and putting them in key spots within the game. It’s not so much how they perform but that they get a feel for what it’s like to play September baseball with a playoff berth on the line.
We still have a chance to end on an 11 or 12 game series win streak.Go Cardinals!!
September 2, 2018 at 5:22 pm #67947The last series the #stlcards lost prior to this one was also to the #Reds, back on July 23-25. The two teams will not play again in 2018. StL won head-to-head this season, 12 games to seven.

September 2, 2018 at 5:34 pm #67948We won the first 8 games against the reds.
You hope it’s only a hiccup but I got a bad vibe that the old offense is returning and we may have peaked a bit early.
Welcome back Outzuna!
