Pugs, I think I’ll just sit tight tonight and enjoy the game uninterrupted. Errands can wait until this weekend. Wifey is away for a couple of days so I’ll just enjoy the game with this really cute babe hanging by my side right now who thinks the world of me — my 4-legged Welsh Terrier companion of 11 years.
Our Cards may not have one of it’s rookies win ROY honors, but as a collective unit, no other team’s cast of rookies come within a mile of how well Cardinal rookies have performed….not even close.

Hey Pugs, I’m here! The games with Pittsburgh were blacked out, so I couldn’t watch the game. I’ve got one eye on the game tonight and enjoying seeing some offense.

O’Neill really has some potential. Power, speed, solid defense apart from some of those odd brain farts in LA…we could have the heir apparent to the king of the outfield sluggers.
For how well the team has played lately, the offense hasn’t quite been explosive. We could really use a Dejong or O’Neill or Ozuna to get hot heading into the stretch to really go with Carp and Jmart who have been consistently good lately.
