And Dejong K’s again! Dude will not do anything but swing all out and miss.
He very could be no better than a .750 ops player. You take it with the defense at SS but that bat doesn’t play at 3rd IMO.
Big out on Machado by Hudson with the sacks packed.
Another solo shot would be nice because that looks like what it’s going to take on either end.

Wow, I watched the first couple innings and both Jack and Buehler were dealing, so figured on a pitchers duel. They didn’t disappoint, and though Jack blinked first, the Cards picked him up late to get the W. What a fun team. O’Neill was the goat last game and Dejong for most of this…only to become heroes in an ultra important sweep. On to Colorado!!
Rats, the X-rays on Martinez’ chest were clean. He was back and talked with reporters after the game, so unless it flared up overnight, it is not expected to be an issue.
That was good news.
But something tells me that Martinez would be about like Dizzy Dean. If they would x-ray his head they would find nothing.
