The Pirates’ pitchers have been playing rope-a-dope all weekend, and today is no different. 9 hits should have scored more than two runs in 5 innings, especially with one being a homer.
Jack just got out of a jam of his own in the bottom of the inning. He keeps it 2-0, and the Pirates are forced to go to their bullpen.
What do you guys think is/are the reasons for this team not striking out the alarming rate they were?
