YOUR REPLY CANNOT BE CREATED AT THIS TIME.
I hope this one posts. Not sure why it would and the other one wouldn’t.

June 8, 2019 at 12:31 pm #93780I think the system may be censoring you in a very nice manner, Esteemed Rat. I think if you refrain from treating us to your myriad of “balls and strikes” jokes your problem will be solved. Our so called “hitters” need to not be psyched out by the Lesters and Hendricks’ of the world. They are good, but not that good. Or, maybe we have to face the brutal truth that maybe our so called “hitters” are actually “kidders” and we need to almost totally clean house.
June 8, 2019 at 3:07 pm #93786It’s way past time to hammer a Cubs starter.
June 8, 2019 at 3:33 pm #93789We have purchased the contract of rookie INF Tommy Edman from Memphis (AAA) and placed INF Jedd Gyorko (lower back strain) on the 10-day IL. Edman will wear uniform no. 19.
To make room on the 40-man roster, we have designated RHP Merandy Gonzalez for assignment. pic.twitter.com/w8FQq3dVbL

June 8, 2019 at 5:25 pm #93800Every time I look at that lineup I think to myself we SHOULD be winning. Nearly all of these guys have got what it takes. What if Carp performs just a little bit like he has in past years? What if de Jong shakes this current slump? We know he can. What if Goldschmidt starts to play like the guy we traded for? What if Oz turns it up a notch or two? What if Bader chokes up just a little bit? Suppose Yadi keeps on chugging like the Yadi we all know and love? What if Wong finally gets his bat to match his glove. All the pieces are there. There is plenty of potential to power a potent team. But the gears are just not turning. I don’t see going out to find new pieces to fix the lineup (except for a pitcher or two) as the solution. None of these guys is a bad player, nor even a mediocre player. Somebody needs to grease the gears we already have and get them performing like thy are capable of doing. Who? Is there a real leader among the players?
We all got excited and felt great when we were 10 games over 500 and the future looked bright. I’m tired of all the gloomy posts (including mine).June 8, 2019 at 6:11 pm #93803All good points Cardinal in France, but that’s the beauty of baseball.,, the what if’s. And hopefully it will only be a matter of time before those what if’s turn into I knew it was possible
June 8, 2019 at 6:25 pm #938043-love Birds compliments of a Marcell 3-run dongarooooo!!
June 8, 2019 at 6:27 pm #93805Bader Waveland’s one making it 4-love Good Guys!!!
June 8, 2019 at 6:27 pm #93806Another what if. What if we win tonight then how would the post look tomorrow in comparison to how the post would look if we won yesterday and lost lost tonight.?
June 8, 2019 at 6:30 pm #93807Lester’s ERA is taking a heck of a hit here thus far….sweet!
June 8, 2019 at 6:33 pm #93809Lester hurls 36 of them in the 1st….about 20 of them very hittable.

cubs 0June 8, 2019 at 6:34 pm #93810Nice start. Hopefully there’s more from where that came.
June 8, 2019 at 6:35 pm #93811This is offense we all know the Cardinals can produce. Here’s to Jack keeping the Cubs in check.
June 8, 2019 at 6:41 pm #93812I really don’t like Rizzo against flaherty. Throw the ball high and in here
June 8, 2019 at 6:43 pm #93813Oh oh…..this lead may be very short lived.
June 8, 2019 at 6:45 pm #93814Bear down and tame these cubbies, Jack!
June 8, 2019 at 6:47 pm #93815I love how when we can’t hit the pitching looks good. Then when we give them a lead that really changes
June 8, 2019 at 6:54 pm #93816Geesh at first I thought Carp’s throw was going to be airmailed half way to Comiskey Park.
June 8, 2019 at 6:55 pm #93817Crazy first inning. A shutdown inning would have been nice but happy with the lead.
June 8, 2019 at 6:59 pm #93818What the heck is Carp doing that with 2 strikes on him! Can we move him down to like 7th in the order?
June 8, 2019 at 6:59 pm #93819I wish carp would swing at the first pitch.
June 8, 2019 at 7:03 pm #93820Can Marcell hit 3-run blows in consecutive innings???
