Just checked the Doppler Radar. Looks all clear. There’s a big pile of green stuff that looks to be about two hours south of St. Louis but it appears to be heading east. Game should be played with no delays.

Then after the DBacks/Cards game it will be time to turn it over to watch last several innings of the Cubs/Reds game from Riverfront Stadium.

Before the Rockies beat the Yankees last night they were on pace to win 29 games this season. I wonder if they’re required to have post-game pressers, and if so, what the heck would anyone have to say?
Kind of surprises me that AZ is one of the top home run hitting teams so far this year. Don’t really think of them as a power team.
Corbin Carroll and Eugenio Suarez are both in the top 10 of the league. Carroll is a really exciting young guy. Small stature but still a heck of a bat
Hopefully with Liberatore at 79 pitches he gets the 7th. And now the offense has to do it’s job and plate another couple of runs
Yeah, a couple of years ago I sprung for a nice Corbin Carroll rookie card thinking it might be a good investment. He’s really good but does not get a lot of “pub”.

I wonder if Liberatore will end up having a better career than Arozarena? Randy is five years older, and really has not been all that great since his dynamic start in 2020. He’s 30, and only at 14.7 WAR. Rats would not be thrilled with his .252 career batting average, and he has not yet hit his 100th home run.
And they score plenty of runs too, Bikemike. They’re behind only the Cubbies and Dodgers in the NL with 260 runs scored.
