Adam will face a weak team, but last time he got hit around by the Rockies so I don’t know about this one. Wish him luck.

I hear TBA has a murderous sinker.

He’s just not a major league pitcher anymore. If this season mattered it would have been brutal for him but as it is I guess they will keep running him out there for the rest of the year.

As many have said here, it’s hard to watch.

Thanks to our two game winning streak we have clawed our way back to 14 games under .500. Now we are facing a team far worse than we are, so maybe we can claw back some more.

I figure if Liby can go 8 shutout innings against a good team, Waino can keep us in it for 5 against KC. Thanks to Liby, the pen should be ready to help Adam get #199.

We took the series off the Rays. Who would fall out of their chair if we drop the series to the Royals?

Notwithstanding this, here’s to #199 for Wainwright.

Well, in four of his last six starts, Waino hasn’t even gotten through four innings, let alone finish five. Last time was his worst yet, against Colorado, which is about KC quality, and that was at home. But there is always hope, especially if the offense scores early and often…

Liby had plenty of clunkers too, but he just went 8, which proves miracles can happen in baseball.

Din-din today will be a two piece chicken dinner from the bakery at the store. Along with some mashed potatoes/white gravy, green beans, a dinner roll, Pepsi, and Turkey Hill Vanilla Bean ice cream. All while we watch a sermon from Pastor John Hagee.

Then tonight me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch for this one. Along with a couple of 7×50 Palma Real Presidente cigars. And a big thick juicy hot dog for our late night snack before we tune in to the Rangers and Giants game to watch Bruce Bochy’s return to Candlestick Park. We will start the evening out by catching the first 2-3 innings of the Reds and Pirates from Forbes Field.

Here’s to hoping Wainwright can finally get #199. Hopefully the offense can put up some runs early and help get things rolling for him.

Taking a gander at today’s out of town scoreboard:

The Cubs and Toronto are scoreless in the top of the 1st at Exhibition Stadium.

The Reds and Pirates are 0-0 in the top of the 1st at Three Rivers Stadium.

And the Brewers and White Sox are tied 0-0 in the top of the 1st at Comiskey Park.

Just got done jogging and watering the landscaping. About to hit the showers and then tune in to the first 2-3 innings of the Reds and Pirates from Three Rivers Stadium.

So good to see Libby pitch about as well as anyone can last night. Lively fastball, great breaking pitches and excellent command.

Maybe Waino can learn a trick or two from the young master and twirl a gem of his own for his measly 199th victory.

Tink Hence took a beating tonight. Every pitcher that goes to Springfield struggles. 3 1/3 innings and 7 earned runs on 9 hits and 3 walks. Worse yet, no strikeouts.

On the plus side, Kloffenstein has a no hitter through 3 innings at Memphis and Luken Baker has a grand slam tonight adding to his absurd RBI total.

I guess it ended up being 9 earned runs for Hence after 2 more of his runners he left on base scored.

Whoa!…I’d say 9 ER’s is a beating that may require Ferdie Pacheco to get him to answer the bell.

Haha!…It may well be the best stuff out there when it’s blistering hot and you’ve been expending some energy out in the heat, 667. I got done with all the yardwork and was pretty beat up. I came inside and absolutely attacked a sweet cold one and I felt fine after destroying that melon…Haha!

The Royals look like they have their ‘80s road uni’s on tonight, even though it’s a home game.

Oh man, that 2-1 to Contreras was a pitch to hit! Got to be ready on the 2-1.

…but with this guy, you definitely make him throw a strike. O’Neill had a pitch to hit but got under it.

Yeah, they do, but at least they say Royals on the front of the jerseys and not Kansas City. The Cardinals now wear a home uniform on the weekends that say St. Louis under the birds on the bat which I think is silly. Everyone should know where they are…I genuinely like the piping on those weekend uniforms, but they should read, Cardinals.
