well our offense is struggling again across the board. The thing is the indians actually have a really good staff so struggling against them is understandable. Its the lack of hitting against the pirates and royals starters that bug you. You have to clean up against those weak teams and hope to play well and be fifty fifty in series against better teams.
Goldy singles so w/1 out CLE walks his lineup protection in Miller. Yadi accommodates with a weak inning ending DP with Fowler on deck.

I think ponce needs to be taken out of the starting rotation. I like oviedo but im not ready to say he should be in there but he has outpitched ponce to this point.

Ponce has already been sent down I-44.
I don’t hate the Cards after being a fan for 7 decades, jj. But this Cards team is all about fading vets and hopeful youngsters. It’s one of the most frustrating Cardinal teams I can remember.
