With Four Signings, Cardinals Increase 2019 Draft Take to 28

On Sunday, June 16, the St. Louis Cardinals announced the signing of three pitchers and a catcher from their 2019 draft class.

  • RHP Thomas Hart, Wakeland High School (TX) (Round 16)
  • C Zade Richardson, Wabash Valley College (Round 22)
  • RHP Eric Lex, Santa Clara (Round 27)
  • LHP Dylan Pearce, Oregon State (Round 31)

Cardinals Complete 2019 Draft with Final 30 Picks

With these four additions, the organization has signed 28 of its 40 selections from the 2019 First-Year Player Draft. At this point, none of the draftees have officially been assigned to their initial teams.
