In the first full week of the second half, the High-A Chiefs (5-6) lost four of seven games. Over the four defeats, they scored just five runs. Outfielder Chris Rotondo had a .391 batting average and Darlin Saladin had two wins and a 0.77 ERA in his first two Peoria starts.
