Both are deserving. Hard to compare numbers, especially given eras they played in. Boyer played in pitchers era before mounds lowered. Rolen played during hitters/steroids era. Not saying he was on steroids, but everyone in that era is tainted to some degree, rightfully so or not. Ultimately, both were amongst very best at their position during a 10+ year stretch. Both should be in HOF IMO.
Boyer should have gotten in. He has higher WAR and better stats than many already in. Add to that the MVP, World Series title, 7 All Star appearances, and 5 gold gloves. What are they waiting for with Boyer?
