I can’t figure out how to show my photos on here. We went and had a great time even though Dad’s cardinals didn’t win, it came down to the last batter with bases loaded. If he had hit a homer they’d have ran us out of town… as it was they waved us goodbye politely.

Either way I’m trying to add the pictures but I think I might need somewhere to upload them first as site apparently will only link to them if their already online.

Now i have to find a cool Cardinals Jersey! 🙂 When I was growing, up my neighbor’s nephew played for the Cardinals for a while. His name was Mike Ramsey. This was 40 years ago… but I wonder if they made him a jersey. Anyone know? It’s a fun toss back to the past.

It’s happening, I got the tickets today. I’m pretty excited about this now. I can’t thank you all enough for helping. We’re not in the bleeders. I found a decent deal on seatgeeks. I’ll have to post a picture once I figure out how.

If any of you happen to be going, stop by Section 119 Rows7 seats 10-13 and say hi to my Dad, it would thrill him!

    Cheers,
    Corey

Okay folks, looks like it’s that time. We collected an extra $300 which is really wonderful. I’m pretty sure we’re going to get out of the nose bleeds. We plan to buy the tickets this week and make final plans. I will send pictures after the game!

    Thank you for your contributions!

I never heard from Jed but he sounds like a busy guy!

    Thanks again!

I would love to contribute-I will keep my eye on where the funding needs to go. My grandkids taught me how to use VenMo long ago.

I set this up to see where it gets us: https://gofund.me/31357b925

You guys are too great. Due to the short time we have before the game to try and put something together, I’m going to give the GoFundMe a try. If you’re interested here is the link: https://gofund.me/31357b925

The plan is that we’re going to go no matter what and if we get some donations we’ll use them to buy the best seats we can.

Thank you everyone for your kindness and considerations.

I appreciate that guys, but I wasn’t really looking for donations. Though the gesture is so awesome. We’re going to get him to the game on the 27th no matter what. I just thought perhaps there was already some type of program or organization that might help boost the experience.

However, it’s really encouraging to hear such kindness, thank you so much. And your stories about the radio just really brought back a lot of memories.

If the Cardinals don’t have some program for something themselves, I wouldn’t want to impose on your kindness. I’ll keep looking. I still feel like there might be something out there that is designed for guys like him to have a great extra experience.

If you guys know of anything like this, please let me know.
