Mo/Girsch would be foolish not to sign Logan Morrison at this late hour. He is a left handed bat that would perfectly compliment the balance of our lineup. With the Cubs signing Yu Darvish, a lefty bat like Logan Morrison would be a nifty addition to counter against a pitcher who has historically struggled against left handed hitters.
This could end up being one very good low risk/high reward pickup for us if Bud Norris stays healthy. He has shown flashes of great play at times. Who on here thinks that this might just be a precursor to one more big move? It makes perfect sense if we plan to utilize Alex Reyes as Closer, and intend to sign/trade for a Closer. It could also be a move to setup up a trade for a frontline starter, and then move a couple of Starters to the Pen ala Mikolas, Lyons, Gant etc.
