Bccran, he was not playing, he is the owner of one of the local professional basketball team. I am Puerto Rican and I do read the local newspaper. He got off the bench took the ball and kicked it. He apologized the next day. That was Bayamon team (the he owns) vs Quebradillas. To play in that game he needed to be a pro basketball player.
Thanks for the clarification, Oliver. The video I saw had him in uniform on the court arguing with the ref. Since he was wearing a basketball uniform, I assumed he was playing.
I think his absense is a psychological thing at this point. He does not want to return only to play at a diminished level that is intolerable to him. But, of course, he does not want to walk away from the money, so he is conflicted. I say, get him an emotional support fern to keep in his locker and tell him to get back here and suit up.
