gonna be tough…if we can go .500 i will be happy, but i think outside of CLE i think the other three teams all have warts and troubles…so i dont see why we cant win some game

i dont usually prognosticate…but how about:
split MIL
1 of 3 to CLE
2 of 3 ATL
2 of 3 ARZ
(i have no idea on whether any of those other series are 4 games or not)

Having most of them at home helps. I’ll be the optimist and say

2/2 with Milwaukee
2/3 from Cleveland
1/3 from Atlanta
2/3 from Arizona

Yeah, I understood. I just started with one format and switched to another after the Milwaukee series, haha. I meant 2-2 against MIL, 2-1 CLE, 1-2 ATL, 2-1 the last series w/ARI. So 7-6 overall.

I’m less optimistic now than a month ago. We keep thinking our team is going to break out, but it’s just not happening, and won’t, I’m afraid.

There are too many problems on this ream for them to break out but they can stay close into September and who knows what could happen.

Update. With three games to go in this 13-game stretch, the Cards’ record is 4-6. That means the end result will be between 7-6 and 4-9. So everyone who made a prediction is still in it.

Looks like the 6-7 picks were correct.

I did correctly pick 3 of the 4 series, just missed the Braves sweep.

Bad Braves series, but split with Milwaukee, and 2 out of 3 from both the Indians and Snakes. Might bode well for the second half.

Well, does the double header Saturday allow them yet another player to recall from Memphis in addition to the paternity leave recall Bowman?

Yes, the 26th man will almost certainly be Luke Weaver to make one start. 10 days have not transpired since his option out so they can get around it this way even without another injured pitcher. Very creative.

Update: Mikolas will pitch Sunday.
