Hence to get back on the mound
Hence, who left his Class A start Thursday after throwing a wild pitch and wincing in the fourth inning, will throw his between-start bullpen session as scheduled. The Cardinals were encouraged after an initial evaluation of his pitching arm and will see how he responds to throwing a regular bullpen session before determining if he can make his next start.

I sure hope Hence gets through his bullpen session okay. Maybe I’m too optimistic, but he could return by the weekend, although more likely next week if all goes well.
