After that offensive explosion in Game #1 we won’t have much left tonight. We will probably get shutout by Assad. Having Goldschmidt back in the lineup will aid the Cubs shutout. I am calling this one 8-0 Cubs.

I’d say that game was more a case of a defensive implosion by those adorable Cubbies…Lots of oven mitts dressed in blue this afternoon…Haha!

Taking a gander at Saturday’s early out-of-town scoreboard:

The Reds lead the Marlins 10-6 in the 7th at Crosley Field. The rookie Hinds that was just called up has jacked two long dongs for the Reds. That’s five in about five days.

The Brewers lead the Nationals 5-4 in the 7th at County Stadium. It was a 5-0 Milwaukee lead but Washington has gotten back in it.

The Pirates down the White Sox today in Chicago. 6-2 Pittsburgh the final at Comiskey Park.

And FYI, the Tigers down the Dodgers in ten innings on a walkoff two run dong.

Second, Lane Thomas jumped up near the top of the wall in RF to catch the game ending flyball. Brewers lose 6-5 to the Nationals.

Could we be 3.5 games out after tonight???
