That is the 2nd time I recall Winn getting thrown out at 2nd trying to take an extra base on a throw home that is cut off. He needs to remember a cut off will gun him down.
If anybody guessed before the season our catching tandem would be Pages and Raposo come with me, we’re going to Vegas.
Contreras is supposed to be back in a couple of days right? Raposo being in the roster should be too big of a deal for a few days then.
Yeah, he took over the team lead in OPS and SLG with the day he had. I’m not counting Contreras with only 107 AB’s.
Raposo is just a placeholder for a few days. He can be easily DFA’d. If it was a longer period, they’d bring up Collins at AAA who we signed over the offseason for that purpose.
Enjoyed the heck out of the game today. Stepped back off the ledge after waiting 2 days to watch hardball and falling behind 3-0 in the first. Thanks Goldy for making my depression a short affair with the 2 run bomb in the bottom half.
After allowing 3 ER’s on 4 singles in the 1st inning, Mikolas earns the W with 5 more innings of work in which he allows only 1 run on 2 hits. He’s now 6-6 on the season.
Any word on Arenado and Siani? NA wasn’t moving his left arm when he was running to first that last AB. Seems like we’ve got a couple issues forthcoming.

Michael Siani is day to day, images were clean. Nolan Arenado might have tweaked something in his forearmBurleson took a Jordan Hicks fast ball to, what seemed like, the high ribs area on a pick off move to 1B. Burly took his time getting up. But denied any attention from the training staff. That seemed kind of “old school” baseball player to me.
