Siani can keep his head since he’s not supposed to be able to hit.

Dylan did everything right. Ignored the balls. Swung at all the strikes. Should have walked in a run. Instead he gets called out on ball 4. Got to be frustrating.

Pitched around Donny to get to our CFr’s. Worked.

He needs to foul those off with two strikes. Can’t count on getting the call.

It’s always been my impression that the more a player struggles, the more the HPU seems to make certain any close calls go against him. It’s almost like they smell blood.

Carlson hasn’t had a lot of at bats yet this season. But I distinctly remember 3 times now he’s been called out on ball 4.

It was also my impression that Albert Pujols almost never had a borderline ball/strike call go against him. But I also never saw him struggle in 11 seasons…Haha!

No. All his struggles came in the 10 years after St Louis.

Reynolds didn’t look too good on that chance in LF. He’ll want to burn that reel…Haha!

Matt Carpenter is another one who gets all the borderline calls. At least that’s my impression.

Reynolds has always been a poor fielder. But he can definitely hit.

Yadier Molina on the other hand would struggle at the plate at times, but still seemed to almost always have close ball/strike calls go his way. I sometimes got the impression that the HPU was thinking to himself, “Heck, he knows the strike zone better that I do”…Haha!

All I ask for is consistency. If that’s a strike and stays a strike ok. I think it’s a better game when guys are swinging.

Tough luck for the Burleson and Redbirds, but that was an outstanding turn on the 4-6-3. You only see that one in the Big Leagues.

Our righty bats have 6 of the 8 hits. Best case for them.

Carlson has had 3 important PA’s. Cashed in once.

I guess I shouldn’t complain about a 3 run lead, but the Cardinals have 11 hits and the Pirates are fortunate to remain within reach.

Herrera is wearing those days off well.

Looks like hot dog and beer sales are down. Willie Jr. won’t be happy about that.

They’ve shaved the ticket price so it too can be spent at the game too.
