Likely over. We almost never get 6. Pallante doing terrible tonight. Just all over the place with his pitching.

As a side note, I really think the Cardinals need to consider changing up their infield positioning when Pallante pitches.

It’s getting more and more obvious, that the Cards need to try to trade either Goldschmidt or Arenado for a #5 starter. Either position could be filled just as good from within as what the Cards are getting from these two over-priced players. Sorry, I couldn’t find trade ideas thread,

It’s safe to say that Pallante experiment didn’t take too long to fail.

It did not. He often beats himself.

I think starting pitching is the better choice for him. But he has to both sharpen his control and sharpen his command of that 2-seam fastball. He was better against the Reds, but he still wasn’t really very sharp. The Reds just didn’t hit pitches over the middle like the Astros have tonight. And Pallante wasn’t overthrowing then.

Gallegos gives up a homer on his 2nd pitch in Memphis tonight costing Memphis the lead. Anyone want to rush him back?
