Burleson upped his wRC+ by almost 20 last night and gained 0.3 fWAR to put his total at 0.4 fWAR. That extra slugging really helped out his overall numbers and obviously our chances of winning last night.
I’ll guess they’re a top5 budget. Top 3?
Phillies are 4th in payroll behind the Mets, Dodgers, and Yankees.
In other news I see that Carlson got a hit last night. Miracles never cease.
blingboy, I’ve been concerned about Burly’s lack of power production. It appears to be coming around. Now, I’m concerned about Walker’s lack of HRs. What the heck is going on?

@BOCfan if shady bothers you so much, then just skip over what he says. You aren’t legally obligated to even read his posts let alone comment on every single one of them. You’re not going to build any bridges or help to change someone’s mind on something by constantly antagonizing them. Instead, you’re just going to make them more dead set in their existing views.
As a quick aside, I think I lead the league in all time Birdhouse/Cardinal Nation suspensions around here with 4. A guy by the name of UFAN probably had more, but he hasn’t been seen in years.
Though it’s been over 14 years since my last one. Looks like I finally grew up…..a little.I’m not one to comment on guys appearances, but remembering back to that thread where we all posted our pictures, that HeHateMeToo was one handsome son-of-a-gun, Bling. Pretty darn smart too.
