It think we’ve lost all the last games of series this year. Didn’t we have that issue a few years back? Maybe it was last year, even. Seems like a focus issue. Gotta get a W here to keep pace against the last place As.
I totally agree about the lack of focus. One clarification though is that the A’s are not in last place. That would be the once mighty Astros. The A’s and Cardinals actually had identical records of 7-9 when this series started.
