How has Komar been left off of the prospect list?

Another W. If they run the table, they may get in.

Yep MrPerkins he’s a fun player especially needed in the midst of a not so fun season. But they need to move on and find out if they have internal options to fill that role.

He’s the Chandler Redmond of pitchers.

The WC race got slightly more interesting. The Mets have caught the DBs for the second WC slot, so now the Cardinals are 7 games out of both the 2nd and 3rd WC slots. The Braves are 2 back and the Cubs 6 back. Getting swept in Toronto was a killer. We need to run the table and get real lucky.

William, I tried to argue for Komar to be a prospect last year. But he is older and repeating AA. He did pitch a bit in AAA when there were some injuries.

I agree on Lynn in that he has been what was expected, but as a team we did not fare well enough to keep him next year. However, I am not sure what intangibles he has brought as far as mentoring younger pitchers.

Then again, our staff is mostly old guys anyway. After two mostly non-competitive seasons it is time to give the younger guys a turn and move on from the Busch Bavarian Bismark Beast, and Kyle “I’m Not Bob” Gibson.
