The country sits on the edge of its seat waiting to see who the starters are for this afternoon’s tilt.

I’ll have to miss this one. I’ll be at Memorial Hospital in Jasper having an Endoscopy done on my esophagus. If I disappear from posting you folks will know that I have died. It’s been fun. I just hope someone takes care of Whitey Herdog..:)

Brian, that wasn’t directed at you it was directed at the two very average franchises.

That 1st Saggese knock will look like a laser in the box score.

Big game for Saggese…2 hits, RBI & 2 runs scored.

Great play in the field too by Saggese.

Would be nice to get 3 winning series in a row before facing Cleveland and our last out west visit. Took the series thankfully today.

Eddie’s doing pretty well, GameCard. He’s collected 24 hits in 21 games as a Dodger, while crossing HP 12 times, with 5 SB’s vs. 0 CS. Not too shabby at all. Eddie may play deep into the post-season this year. I’ll be watching.

All the best Rats. My wife had an endoscopy. Month or so ago. All was good, but she is frustrated as she has had acid reflux and never had it much before.

Like what I see of the young Saggese. Has made some good contact, good reflexes and athleticism. He already has better hitting mechanics than Walker. Will be interesting to see how his career progresses.

But I missed this one as well. I met up for lunch with a couple of old work buddies from our accounting/finance group back in the day at Starz. Always great catching up with old friends.

Good luck Rat. Hospitals always give me the heebee jeebies. Best to think positive.

The movie channel, Starz? If so, I’m guessing that must have been a pretty good place to work.

1td…very happy for Eddie. I am a Dodger fan because of him.

I’ll be rooting for the Royals if they get in, GameCard. However if the post-season were to progress to an all blue Dodgers/Royals WS, I’d root for the Dodgers. This is primarily because I’m a NL fan from back when there were once a lot of differences in the two leagues and loyalty amongst fans to their respective favorite league. But I still like Eddie too…Haha!

If recent history is any indication, Edman is destined to be this year’s NLCS MVP.

I’m trying to guess the trend that may lead to that conclusion, but I’m coming up empty, Euro.

The trend is that former Cardinals tend to shine in the postseason such as Randy Arozarena and Adolis Garcia. Maybe this is Tommy’s year.

Oh, okay. Yeah, I expect a power surge from Eddie in the form of 6 SB’s in the NLCS!
