I agree Mike. I’d seen the stance on some clips from him in Memphis, so I knew it was the same as before. I imagine he tried something else earlier while he was there, but he’s back to it now.

It seems like Scott hits it in the air a lot. Fly out, line out. It used to be little speedy guys were taught to hit it on the ground. I doubt they have that in their bag of tricks any more.

There you go Bike! Big time player and a good actor. That comment jarred my memory: Dick Butkus played the heavy in a big time TV miniseries I saw I saw after ROOTS set the mark for the genre…RICH MAN, POOR MAN with Nick Noltey.

Dick probably got more parts that I’m not aware of after that

Yeah, I did not like removing Mikolas after an infield hit. Kittredge brings a gallon of gasoline and throws it on the fire. He has really regressed since his early success.

4-3 and Miles is pulled w/runners at 1st and 2nd. Kitt is 50/50 at stranding runners now (10 of 20). Not good.
Then he tacks on his own HR.

It’s silly the way this guy simply pushes the buttons that he deems are the mainstream or standard manner to behave while managing a baseball game. He has less than zero feel for how a particular situation may unfold, so it’s as if he says to himself…”Hmmm…100 pitches tells me I must remove my SP’er.” The little whiz-kid possesses the instinct and inventiveness of a paving stone. They’ll never, ever win anything with this guy.
