That was a quick change of fortunes. Gotta pull this one out of the fire. Someone needs to get a two out, run scoring hit.
I predict the much maligned Nolan Gorman will hit a walk off winner.
It’s funny how on checked swings Contreras always plays umpire and points to the first base ump for the call.
Remember the game we had to finish the next morning? It was scoreless in the 7th or 8th when it restarted. Gorman rolls outta bed, hits a solo shot, and we win.

Wow, that was some double play!! Not sure too many 3b and SS combos could turn that one. But Nado’s quick reflexes and Winn’s arm gets it done.
That double play was what you pay to see when you buy a ticket to a Big League ballgame. Only the big kids turn those kind.

Yeah, I get the sense this Carlson trade is going to follow in yet another one of Mo’s outfielder give-aways. Tonight we are minus 3 in the deal, with Carlson producing two runs and Armstrong giving up one (so far).
bikemike, not that anybody would be checking so soon with such a small sample size, but as a Ray, Carlson was OPSing over 1.000 after his hit tonight. Haha. Mo just put in the order for a 3-run HR in the bottom of the 9th.
And that’s a loser. Got a tough series coming up. As the old Three Dog Night album said, “It Ain’t Easy”.
