What, not one post yet about tonight’s game?

The 3rdbase Ump (Hunter Wendlestedt) appeared to really hose the Doyers last night on a play at 3rdbase. I assume most on here have seen it?

And the Brewers complete the sweep of the Braves in Atlanta earlier today. They hit six (6) homeruns and win the game 16-7 at Fulton County Stadium in Atlanta.

We need one of those winning streaks like the DBacks and Padres have been on. We need to win 8-9 in a row, 12 out of 13, or something like that. Won’t be easy with all of the above .500 teams we have coming up.

Plus we also need Goldschmidt to go on one of those two week hot streaks that everybody seems to always talk about it. That might be asking too much, however.

After tonight’s game me and Whitey Herdog will be on the couch watching the Phillies and DBacks from the BOB in Arizona. I will be rooting for the Phillies. Maybe Schwarber can hit three more dingers like he did last night.

Those Braves have really been leaking oil for what now seems like forever. Meanwhile, both of the NLWC contenders in the NLW are 8-2 in their last 10 games and well within striking distance of the once vaunted Dodgers. I’d have to say if there exists an ideal time of the regular season for a ballclub to dial up a formula designed to hit it’s stride, now would be the time.

The Braves have surprised me with their struggles. They just have not done much the last three months plus.

Meanwhile Coach Shildt is doing a great job with those Padres, and management has added some nice pieces. Looking at it right now, Bob Reed’s proposed trade of Gorman for Cease would look pretty good. And their veteran under performer, Manny Machado, has come on of late. Maybe 1TD is right – a good team needs a “Manny”.

    Pham should be starting.

Could be right jj.Been able to see the last 6 games and when I saw tonights order I’m amazed. First 4 looks ok.But when I see the second group of 4 its the opposite. Noots dead at the plate, Goldy and Donovan too. Gorman struggles. I think Donovan has really made some good catches in left field when he gets in the game but not much hitting lately. So please prove me wrong tonight!

Last 7 games it’s been Pham, Winn and Arenado leading the way. Burly so-so, and 5 ice cubes.

Wonder if Morel will be the Cubs version of Arozarena.

Further reason why I hated the Carlson trade.

He’s wearing out that 3B line.

Nice RBI rip with a RISP from Arenado. If he continues to do that, I’m going to start referring to the GG 3B’man as Manny Arenado…That ought to get him cranked up with the bat.
