Somebody explain to me why this team can’t score any runs?????

The ineptness of 3/4 of our infield for most of the season. 2 of them can’t seem to follow up the mediocre seasons they had last year and the other has regressed from his Sophomore numbers. If we got 2023 production from all 3 of those we are at looking ok on offense and not mediocre.

That’s 2 down years in a row from Nolan Sr. This is who he is now. Goldschmidt seems to be getting a bit unlucky, but he is significantly worse at outside fastballs which has been his Achilles heel.

Whew! King does the job, surrendering only a sac fly after inheriting that royal mess…..maybe he should be starting with Mikolas occupying the pen.

A 4 inning start doesn’t work for me. Does a 4 inning start work for anyone? Getting through the lineup once doesn’t work, Miles. How much payroll is sunk into Mikolos and Arenado next season?

I don’t know Bling. There’s nothing to indicate we won’t stop the play the contract policy. I’m not going to comment on Arenado anymore.

Mikolas is a batting practice pitcher anymore.

Once in a while he might have a good game.

But for the most part, there’s a reason why his ERA is now over 5.00.

Well, we are 7-5 against the Cubs so far this year. Looks like we will end up 7-6 on the year. At least we will have won the season series.
