You can’t make that stuff up!

But it will probably be the only hit he gets the rest of the year.

I’ve been stewing in my own juices since we got Pham back, What? We got no .250 hitters in the minors?

But I sure got a thrill outa that slam!

Wasn’t there some kind of issue with his eyesight a decade ago?

Andujar always ended an interview with Jack Buck by proclaiming, “And as you know, Jack, I’m a power heater”…Buck would laugh so hard that it sounded over the radio as if he couldn’t catch his breath, and then Jack would say, “There you have it folks, he’s one tough Dominican”…Haha!

I saw Joaquin hit one of his 5 career homeruns Dom. Highlight of my Busch 2 experiences.

He most definitely took his rips like he was mad at the baseball. I recall being concerned he’d hurt himself every time he’d stand in for an AB.

Winn hits behind the runner naturally.

He is an unselfish player. Takes a strike on stolen base attempts. He is only going to get better.

Still my #2 batter, for exactly those reasons.

Lynn was scorched for 10 ER’s in 2.2 IP’ed during a disastrous July 6th start against the Nationals, but in his other last 5 turns in the rotation he’s allowed only 4 ER’s in 29.1 IP’ed and should improve to 6-4 with this late 8-1 lead. Not too bad for a guy who looks like he washes down fresh donuts with cold barley pop.

Pham crushes lefties and sure enough, got the slam against a LHP. He was forced into everyday service by the Sox.

Second, I believe he finally got the Miracle surgery he needed for his eyes in his last year with us.

Did anyone see Nootbaar try to dose Pham with the Gatorade during his postgame on-field interview. I don’t think Noot knows who he is messing with. Haha.
