Good day for Hudson. Excellent day. Gant did a nice job in relief. Good close by Hicks.

Only was frustrated by Wong and Wieters striking out with runners on first and third. Wong does that. Then, there are the days where he makes everything happen. Wonder if DeJong is out of his slump?

Gscott. I realize our bats have been struggling as of late and our top hitters have been struggling but I also realize it just takes that one game, one series to get it going again so why not this weekend. I just hope the whole Molina-Bryant thing isn’t the main focus and it becomes more about the Cardinals – Cubs tradition and beating the cubs , not just about getting Bryant out

One positive thing about the rain delay last night is Waino will have an extra day rest so he would pitch Sunday night. They could even wait until the next series against Miami and put a call up in there but I dont see that happening esp against the cubs and it being a Nationally televised game.

We catch a break today as the Rockies down the Cubs 3-1 at Wrigley.

Milwaukee, however, chalks one up on the winners side.

well all around good outing by our boys. though I couldn’t see it cause of work. good to go to Chicago on a good note. wont probably watch much cause I detest the cubs and don’t want to give them any satisfaction but ill keep myself updated.
