Not good situational hitting there…wasting their own leadoff double by Bader. Munoz looked particularly bad.

Got to get that lead off runner in scoring position home. Frustrating!

Gallegos with a nice inning. The one hit was a lucky bloop and the only ball hit with any authority was right at the RF.

Hey these Nats must love our owner. For those listening on the radio, they have this huge yellow sign, which should be red, right in back of home plate that reads “DEWITT”.

Wong went to the well much too soon with the surprise bunt thing.

Brebbia & Gant are both lights out!

One down in the 9th on the broken bat. Two to go.

Woah, Marp nearly drops the pop up, but he collects it and Brebbia is one out away from sealing this one up!

Brebbia is facing Adrian Sanchez here with the game on the line. Of course, Adrian knuckles a flare into right. That’s got to be about ten of those for the Nationals this series.

Eaton pops up and the Cards win the first three for 20-10 on the season!! Great game to beat Scherzer and tomorrow we have Diamond Jack facing off with Strasburg with the chance for the sweep.

Brebbia impressive lately. Nice win! Sad to see so few people in the stands at Nats Park… nothing like the fan base in St Louis that seats 30K on a bad night.

Really looking forward to Wrigley series this weekend with our team clicking on 8 cylinders.
