I would like to see Bader sit a little as he is back to struggling. His OPS in Sept. is under .600. However, I am not sure that my choice to replace him (Arozarena) would do any better. He has sat a LOT and is not getting regular ABs. It might take him a few games to get the timing back.

This is where not having Lane Thomas to spell a guy hurts us a little. He might have gotten much run but when he did he produced.

I wonder if shifting DeJong and Edman in the batting order might help. Having a switch hitter in #5 would seem to be valuable and DeJong has been cold as a dead fish lately.

Jacko deserves some blame for the loss too. Afterall it was his meatball that gave the Moose a game tying dinger. Otherwise he was his usual spectacular self.

well I went to this game and took some bad luck I guess. to me the turning point of the game was when braun was batting with runners at first and second and one out. instead of going after him they they kept trying to nitpick down low and eventually walked him. braun hits right handed and not fast so prime for double play. thames is left handed and a little faster. of course bringing webb in only compounded problem, should have been brebbia from start. far as offense, our guys from 3 thru 5 have got to consistently produce and they aren’t doing that. way too many pop up and high fly balls yesterday. yea you need the top tom get on and they have and a little help from bottom is great but if your middle doesn’t produce, a team generally isn’t going to win.
