Need something good from the Nootz.
June 26, 2026 at 9:04 pm #311160Obviously Meyer had no intention of giving in on the 3-1 or the 3-2 with a fastball to the Nootz. It’s up to Winn to push these runs across.
June 26, 2026 at 9:10 pm #311161I’m real weary of Meyer. I don’t think he’s laid a juicy pitch out on the plate all night. He’s definitely living on the edge.
June 26, 2026 at 9:32 pm #311163This game’s beginning to look somewhat similar to the last time the Cardinals got a nice turn from a member of the 5 man in the person of Leahy on Tues. He exited after allowing 0 ER’s and only 3 H’s in 6.1 IP’ed only to have the resident BP stud Svanson immediately toss the baseball game into the fire while allowing 3 ER’s in 0.1 IP’ed. The Cardinals don’t have near enough talent among the 5 man to squander any nice performances from the rotation.

June 26, 2026 at 10:03 pm #311166This team will be in sell mode come after the break.
June 26, 2026 at 10:13 pm #311167For the last week or so the shelves haven’t looked like they contain any quality merchandise.
June 26, 2026 at 10:15 pm #311168If the Cardinals can manage to squeak out 3 runs in the home half of the 9th this’ll be a carbon copy of Tuesday’s game.
June 26, 2026 at 10:19 pm #311169They have 3-4 guys they can got a used puck bag for. Maybe even some broken sticks and dentures.
This pitching staff and pen are so inconsistent. I know were rebuilding and this team the last month or so has resembled that.
June 26, 2026 at 10:23 pm #311170Walker wouldn’t have reached that 3rd strike with a vaulting pole.
June 26, 2026 at 10:25 pm #311171Dismal doesn’t do justice.
June 26, 2026 at 10:27 pm #311172Haha…”Puck bag”…I’m not even at all sure what that is, but I’m laughing.
June 27, 2026 at 2:13 pm #311201And the mention of an interminable career from a pitcher conjures up a little baseball trivia…Who’s the pitcher that holds the all time record for most Big League seasons? No hint on this one because the correct answer should be real easy for this elite squad of baseball experts.
Without looking it up I will guess Phil Niekro or Jamie Moyer.
