Nice CS by Pages. Is it established that Herrera still can’t throw anyone out, or is that still up in the air?
June 23, 2026 at 8:07 pm #310813I don’t think there’s any question as to whether the Cardinals enjoy a defensive advantage with Pages situated behind HP, so it would be real nice to see him amp things up just a little when he stands in the box.
June 23, 2026 at 8:09 pm #310814Cardinals get their best chance of the game to score on Rodriguez. Need something good from the Nootz.
June 23, 2026 at 8:10 pm #310815Ran it full. Do you start them with 1 out?
June 23, 2026 at 8:13 pm #310816I’m real surprised Rodriguez went to the off speed on the BB to the Nootz.
June 23, 2026 at 8:25 pm #310817AZ needs a 1 out baserunner and Nado rips at the 3-0 to produce a weak bouncing ball to 3B. He routinely did things like that while he was here.
June 23, 2026 at 8:28 pm #310818I believe that was Leahy’s best start. Aside from the first pitch of the game, he had great stuff all night.
June 23, 2026 at 8:30 pm #310819Burleson 0 for his last 864 verses left handed pitchers.
Rodriguez finally out of the game after getting the first 2 in the 7th. Still 0-0.
June 23, 2026 at 8:30 pm #310820I like this decision. I’ve seen plenty enough of Rodriguez.
June 23, 2026 at 8:31 pm #3108210 for 864?
June 23, 2026 at 8:34 pm #310822Rodriguez exits and Morillo promptly BB’s the first batter he faces and then follows with a WP to place the baserunner into scoring position…Karma?
June 23, 2026 at 8:36 pm #310823Couldn’t make them pay.
June 23, 2026 at 8:45 pm #310824C’mon man, It couldn’t be more than 0 for 300
June 23, 2026 at 8:49 pm #310825I looked him up and he only has about 1700 career AB’s. At first I thought to myself, “get this bum Burleson out of here”…Haha!
June 23, 2026 at 8:50 pm #310826I may have stretched it just a bit on Burleson.
June 23, 2026 at 8:50 pm #310827Manny Motter once went 0 for 950 and he was a fan favorite!
June 23, 2026 at 8:54 pm #310828I shouldn’t be having this much fun. You guys are a bad influence…Haha!
June 23, 2026 at 9:00 pm #310829Smith’s getting too many looks.
June 23, 2026 at 9:02 pm #310830I complained about Nado and now I’m scared…
June 23, 2026 at 9:06 pm #310831You almost knew that was going to happen if he gave in and threw him the 3-2 heat.
June 23, 2026 at 9:10 pm #310832Svanson with 9000 pitches this inning. Ollie comes out to pick up his arm after he secured only 1 out. Not his fault Walker lost a routine fly ball in the lights. However, Svanson could not locate pitches. That was a problem.
June 23, 2026 at 9:16 pm #310833The only thing Svanson needs to locate is a bus ticket back to Memphis
June 23, 2026 at 9:19 pm #310834This top of the inning is taking forever. Our pitchers refuse to throw consistent strikes and Arizona has done a good job fouling off pitches when they do.
Just announced that was our 54th pitch of the inning. And number 55 leads to a walk to load the bases. Graceffo, throw f’n strikes.
And a wild pitch makes it 4-0.

June 23, 2026 at 9:26 pm #310838Absolutely pitiful how the bullpen is! Can’t throw strikes! Remind me again why Crooks is playing? This guy is under 200! Send Crooks down and bring up Joshua Baez. Velazquez isn’t producing much either, another candidate to send down or trade.
