Swe the game was delayed. Dozed off before I saw the lineup and woke in the end of the 3rd. I guess JJ needs a day but freaking Saggese again! He’s had 4 starts in the last 6 games IIRC.
For anyone listening on a radio I have good news. The game last night and today are free on mlb app.
Church also hustles and scuffles on the field. Real nice baserunning play to stretch that base hit to a double.
Royals tie it up on a hard hit single by my cousin Vinny. Leahy really has issues getting through 5. Very hard hit balls that inning.
Nice 5th inning with baserunners at 2B and 3B and 0 outs and the Redbirds manage to push both of them across HP.
JJ just had a day off earlier this week. He must have a minor tweak. Refreshing seeing the rowdy shirtless bunch making some noise. It might be a nice touch to have another matching section nearby with only collegiate females.
Oh almost forgot din-din, which was an early 2:30p one, as I just arrived home. It was a trip over to Olive Garden, where I ordered the eggplant with extra sauce and cheese. I also had them dish me up 2 Italian sausages and salad with extra onion. Then on the way home I swerved on into the Popeye’s drive thru lane to snag myself 3 apple cinnamon pies, which I’m munching on as we speak.
Oh boy there’s a real chubby one out there in “The Herd”. I just may have “forgot” to take my shirt off if I were him.
At first I thought Herrera was hurt…..I still haven’t heard a good reason from the tv guys as to why he didn’t bust a move towards home plate.
They have the Bogsider. He worked 10 pitches yesterday. The whiz-kid’s just not all in to win the baseball game.
