With tonight’s W, the Redbirds are tied with…The Dodgers!

Wowee for Pozo! That was just insane.

They’ve now used O’Brien, Romero, Soriano, and Stanek two nights in a row. I’d think they would all get tomorrow off. Leahy, with Graceffo, Svanson, Bruihl, and Shuster as the pen (possibly Pushard instead of one of those last three). Could be interesting bringing that one home.

Tonight’s W matches the season high water mark of 8 games above sea level which was last acheived a week ago on May 8th. Leahy will take a turn tomorrow afternoon and attempt to rocket the Redbirds into a yet unknown dimension of 9 games above the .500 mark. The kids on this team look like they believe thay can scrap and scuffle their way to that uncharted destination.

The Bogsider only worked through 10 pitches. If there’s a SV opportunity in tomorrow’s game and the Cardinal manager doesn’t give the baseball to O’Riley O’Brien to work the 9th, the whiz-kid’s simply not trying to win the baseball game.
