Cubs lost 2 of 3 to the Nationals who are projected to be terrible this season. I love that they chose to offer Imanaga the qualifying offer thinking he’d reject it and he took it. He’s been pretty bad for half a season now.

    Free

Maybe Fredbird can throw out of the pen

Not sure Roycroft, Pushard, Bruhil bring much to the table

Soriano at least looked the part

Rays got 41 hits in 3 games and we had six no hit innings from a starter…

Watching the game on replay. Maye just isnt quite ready for prime time but i think he will be ok eventually. We dont have much in the way of arms in the outfield. I think i could almost go from second to third on them. The more i see scott far as offense goes, the more i like him. He gets a lot of chub hits with his speed but thats what good speed guys do, put the ball in play. Make defense have to make hard plays. Hard to get to first base by striking out.

Im also not too sold pages as a catcher. Let an easy one get by him. The runner was so surprised he got a bad jump at 3rd and might have been thrown out at home if pages had picked up the ball right. Looked a lot like my 9 year olds at practice today.

I believe that Walker would qualify as a good arm.

Yea walker is solid. But our center and left yesterday were pretty weak on the throwing.

Their SS taking 2B on a single up the middle was embarressingly bad.

I’d like to see Dustin May visit the doctor. Our catchers don’t know May, but Doc Pozo doesn’t have to. I’d really like to see his sequencing w/Dustin for a couple GS.
